Registered Nurse
Tara has been a Registered Nurse for over 5 years, and was trained and certified by THMA as a Certified Medical Aesthetic Injector in Ottawa. She completed both her undergraduate (BScN) and graduate (MScN) studies with the University of Ottawa, and is passionate about health equity and improving both the access to and quality of health care services for all. She has worked with Ottawa Public Health in various leadership roles, has worked with the University of Ottawa’s Centre for Research on Health and Nursing with a specific focus on Community and Indigenous Health, and has even worked in Vascular Surgery.
Tara loves all things aesthetics, and has an appreciation for both the science and art aspects of medical aesthetics. Her keen eye for detail, especially in arts, have led her to win multiple art competitions growing up. Her passions led her to a career in medical aesthetics, allowing her to bridge both art and science into a wonderful harmony. She prioritizes client safety and evidence-based practice in all aspects of her services, and is continuously seeking opportunities to advance her skills. Tara believes in a personalized approach to aesthetic treatments, and spends time getting to know each client and their unique goals in order to enhance each client’s natural beauty and leave them feeling more self-confident. Tara believes looking good and feeling good go hand-in-hand.
