Sandra is a Registered Practical Nurse with over 13 years of experience and is known as the expert injector at RIO. She has extensive experience working as a surgical nurse in the operating room at the Ottawa Hospital, and the Eye Institute and as the first assistant in two of Ottawa’s leading private plastic surgery clinics.

Her love and passion for symmetry and beauty, have led her from working in the operating room to pursuing a career in medical aesthetics both as the master injector at RIO and a clinical trainer for THMA and Prollenium. She has completed advanced injectable training with Martin’s Training and THMA and continues to expand her knowledge to bring new evidence-based practices to the clinic.

With her meticulous eye for detail and in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy, she has excelled as an advanced medical injector in the Ottawa area since 2017.  Sandra opened RIO in June 2020 with the idea of working independently and only offering injectable services such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers.  She very quickly realized she wanted to grow the team at RIO and add laser treatments to the list of services available at the clinic.
